Area residents and their visitors have enjoyed Grayling's natural beauty for many decades.  This "university" takes our enjoyment of the outdoors to a higher level.

The U of G is a university whose founders mandated a curriculum based not on academia, but on nature. 

Wikipedia defines accreditation as a process in which certification of competency, authority, or credibility is presented.  The University of Grayling is accredited by a slightly different process than other distinguished universities.  Its "experts" in competency, authority, and credibility are schooled in the unparalleled beauty and opportunities of northern Michigan.  This non-academic core of support has invited the entire community to participate in this effort to show the world what Grayling has to offer.

The U of G logo was designed to be used by all Grayling area businesses.  (New design or design changes must include the words "University of Grayling" and "A Major in Nature")
